On April 25th, 2015 a powerful 7.8 earthquake devastated Nepal. From April 25 to May 11, 160 aftershocks recorded above 4 on the Richter scale. The most intense aftershock occurred on May 12, magnitude 7.3.

We had in-country partners in Nepal who responded with immediate relief. Between April 28 and May 12, we conducted nine distributions to 485 families, which resulted in 2,830 beneficiaries. Items that were distributed included tarps and food packets.
