What We Are Up To

Projects:

Through our partnership with JESUS Film Church Planting Strategy (JFCPS), we are working to share the gospel and plant churches in Liberia. The country has been negatively affected by the civil war and most of its basic infrastructure, including roads, schools and health facilities, remain in poor condition. The lack of food security, health care, education and employment opportunities have left communities vulnerable. As a result, most of the population is extremely poor and lacks hope for a better future.

The majority of villages follow traditional ancestral practices, yet once they are introduced to Jesus, everything changes. They experience peace and a new sense of hope. Currently, we have teams working to build relationship and share the love of Jesus Christ with the Kpelle tribe in Bong County, the Vai tribe in Grand Cape Mount and the Manya tribe in Lofa County.

Past Projects

Feeding Program in Monrovia

In 2003, we partnered with GAiN Germany, Grass Roots Liberia and local churches to implement a feeding program where 144,467 hot meals were served, utilizing local churches as feeding centers to the displaced people of Liberia. About 63% of the people served were under the age of 15. The provision of this food directly impacted the lives of many people in Monrovia.

The funds for this completed project were provided by donors in Canada and the United States.
