Position Overview:

The Water for Life Initiative Project Manager at Global Aid Network will ensure that all projects in this area are led with best practices and expertise. This includes the project design, tracking, budgeting, report writing, communication, and all other logistics for a project.  Working with others on the Water for Life team, the Project Manager will be the key liaison for all project stakeholders.

Primary Outcomes

This role will be held accountable to achieve the following outcomes: 

  1. Project Management (60%)
    • Effectively lead projects from implementation until completion, including keeping projects on time and within budget 
    • Regularly report on project status and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders 
    • Execute all project details, including project tracking, budgeting, report writing, communication, logistics, etc  
    • Conduct field visits, as needed, to ensure effective project implementation, and to gather reports, donor fulfillment, and changed life stories
  2. Project Design (20%)
    • Assist with proposal development and grant applications for projects within the WFLI 
    • Maintain best practices in all project design
  3. Other Responsibilities (10%)
    • Active participation in weekly chapel services  and GAiN prayer time.  
    • Attendance and participation in the bi-annual International Day of Prayer.
    • Participate in staff meetings, Water for Life team meetings, etc.  
    • Support other GAiN teams and initiatives, as required.
