Position Overview:
The Water for Life Initiative Intern at Global Aid Network will work with both the Lead Project Manager and the Lead Program Manager to ensure the WFLI is led with best practices and expertise. This includes project management, research, grant applications, and data analytics.
Primary Outcomes
This role will be held accountable to achieve the following outcomes:
- Project Management (40%)
- Effectively lead projects from implementation until completion, including keeping projects on time and within budget
- Regularly report on project status and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders
- Execute all project details, including project tracking, budgeting, report writing, communication, logistics, etc
- Conduct field visits, as needed, to ensure effective project implementation, and to gather reports, donor fulfillment, and changed life stories
- Program Research and Analytics (50%)
- Analyze program data and evaluations to assess trends in effectiveness, sustainability, and impact, producing reports for stakeholders
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities for new projects and programs
- Research and maintain best practices in all project and program design
- Other Responsibilities (10%)
- Active participation in weekly chapel services and GAiN prayer time
- Attendance and participation in the bi-annual International Day of Prayer
- Participate in GAiN staff meetings, Water for Life Initiative team meetings, etc.
- Support other GAiN teams and initiatives, as required.
