Haiti

On the 12th of January, a devastating earthquake ripped through Haiti killing hundreds of thousands.  GAiN has been working in Haiti since 2004 and is committed to aiding in the long-term rebuilding of Haiti. Through ongoing medical clinics and construction of homes for internally displaced people, you have the opportunity to send hope and help rebuild Haiti.

*A note on costs – Airfare to Africa is expensive and as such the budgets for LIFE team projects into Africa is higher than in other parts of the world.  Budgets are based on airfare from Vancouver.  If you are interested in using personal air miles to cover a portion of your flights, this can also be taken into consideration.
